Ms. V in the Sunset

One of my favorite things to do is photograph children in the sunset, especially children of close friends. This session encompassed all of my favorite elements. There is something about a warm sunset with a smiley kiddo that I just can’t help but LOVE!

And since brother came along and was dressed like a little stud, we had to get a couple of them together!

Ms. M {Senior Year}

I met a really cool chick last week and I loved hanging with her for her session! Ms. M is a super laid back, sweet, humble girl and honestly, she is so much more gorgeous then she thinks she is!! She was so easy to photograph with her natural expressions. She brought her prom dress and since prom is happening as I write this, I am sharing a few!

Baby O { Newborn }

There is much evidence that I am a HORRIBLE blogger! So…here is my attempt to redeem myself…just a little. I recently was given the great pleasure to photograph the newest baby in our family! This little love, is my newest cousin, Olive. :) She is the daughter to one of my very sweet cousins (whom I was blessed to gain through marriage!).

Olive was the picture perfect baby to photograph at 6 days of age. She let me have fun, and behaved marvelously! My favorite images from the session though, were the images we did with her Mommy and Daddy. Here are two of my favorites: And this image came with a little resistance from baby, but in the end, she puckered her beautiful lips and settled so that we were able to get this timeless image for her parents to enjoy!

Congrats Kari and Trask!! I LOVE your daughter! Thank you for letting me be part of this precious time with your family!! I love you all!

4 Year Old – Miss A

Say Hello to my little friend. Seriously, she is little and she is my friend…I’m not kidding here…

Miss A is a fabulously adorable little chick! She has a bright personality, gorgeous blue eyes and I was thrilled to spend some time with just her!! She has a little bro who I get to see often, but this session was all about this sweet little 4 year old!! Miss A let her Mama pick out her first outfit, but her 2nd outfit was all her!! She is a tried and true fan of Pink-a-licious! She was even celebrating her birthday with a Pink-a-licious themed party!!! So of course we had to have her twirl around in her favorite outfit!!
Miss A…you are truly a treasure!!!

Ava – 1 Year!!

This gorgeous girl just celebrated her 1st Birthday! I have had the pleasure of photographing her for many months now and her 1st Birthday Session was an absolutely blast! Seriously though, she couldn’t get cuter! Here are a few of my favorite images from her session…and her cake smash! Happy Birthday Miss Ava! You are a treasure!

‘W’ Family – Halloween Fun!!

The ‘W’ family came by the studio recently for a family session. I see lots of families every month and I always love personalizing their sessions by doing some things that are ‘them.’ So, we started with some basic, more traditional shots of the 4 of these good looking people!And then we broke into the part of the session where they got to have a TON of fun! This family LOVES Halloween! They aren’t just your typical family who goes out and picks from what is on the rack (ya, that would be me!). No, they plan, conspire and find the real deal! This year they went with a Star Wars theme and I have to say, their ensembles were impressive! I had a blast with them…this was a first for me to hang out with such a well dressed bunch!

First off is baby Yoda!

I asked big sis to look mean…she is still so darling even when she is looking tough!

I totally get it if Dad looks a little scary…but if you knew him, you would know that this is more hilarious then scary!

And the whole bunch! Thank you ‘W’ family for being so much fun!!

Express The Dress Session

I had a fabulous time with this gorgeous couple recently. I was lucky enough to photograph this couple at their wedding a few weeks ago. Upon their return from their honeymoon, they celebrated their new marriage by having a fun time wearing their formal-wear in some not so formal places! Here are a few of my favorites from their session!

I have to preface these next two shots with: It was about 50 degrees outside and the water was…well, much, much colder! This girl is tough!! My favorite shot from the session!And lastly, if the dress hadn’t gotten wet and dirty enough already…some finger painting! And if you are curious, yes that shot of orange totally landed where it looks like it was headed! She was a really great sport as I am fairly certain before this paint war started, she expected to keep the paint below the neck!

This was so much fun Mr. and Mrs. A!! Thanks for the fun time!

Baby ‘O’ – 3 Months Old

This little cutie was so fun when she came in with her parents for her 3 month session! She gave me all kinds of adorable expressions. She definitely has convinced me that my geek-ishness (yep, new word, just made it up) is best appreciated by the tiny humans :) I just had so much fun with her!

Little Miss L and her Mama came by the studio for Miss L’s 2 year photos! I have been photographing this little cutie since she was 3 months old! I adore chatting with her Mama but I have to say my favorite moment was was Miss L leaned in and said ‘Jenn you so beautiful.’ Although, it sounded more like ‘Jenn you so booful.’ I speak toddler so I got the message :)
