Pacific Ocean Family Photographer {Longbeach WA, Ocean Park WA}

 One of my most favorite places to be is at the beach. We are lucky enough that both of our parents have a place at the coast just a couple hours from where we live. It makes for fun, impromptu family getaways which are even more fun with we are joined by our siblings. My sis-in-law is one of my most favorite people on the planet and so when we convinced her hubby to come out to the sand with their gorgeous daughter for a 'couple' (like I ever really mean that right?!) pictures, it was a recipe for fun for me!

Lentz Family {Longview, Kalama, Vancouver Photographer}

This family is just too adorable for words. They love each other and it shows when I see them together. I've know Adrienne since middle school and it's just a joy to spend time with her now as we are both Moms :) She has such a happy spirit and is the most attentive Mother! She and her husband are looking forward to expanding their family through adoption, so please lift them up in prayer as they move towards adding another little one to their family in the future!! 

Edyn, my Red Head {Kalama, Longview, Kelso, Vancouver WA Photographer}

My middle daughter is my little sweet red head. I see so much of myself in her, especially the moody, passionate, excited part of her...I know I gave my Mom a run for her money with my childhood attitude (who am I kidding, I was a tantrum thrower big time). This girl of mine has such a strong view on how life should be, I hope this determination carries her far into the goals she sets out for herself. I pray that she keeps that determination in her faith and follows hard after God and after what she wants out of life.

This girl keeps me grounded. She expresses true Joy. When she laughs, it's for real, it's not polite, it's honest; a trait that I can appreciate. When she is smiling and laughing I cannot get enough of her sweet face, that porcelain skin, her full bottom lip, her big eyes and of course, her flowing red hair. I am never sure when photographing her will be a good idea. As a true redhead, through and through, if I don't have her 100% buy-in to the idea of a portrait session, it isn't going to happen. I do believe now though, after a few years of trying, that's I've found the ticket with her. A new dress, fun hat and some flowers, and she's game for 20 minutes of goofing off with Mommy. So, here is a personal picture gush of my middle girl. It goes without saying that I love her so.

 Do any of you have friends so gorgeous it's just not fair?! Parents who are fabulously pretty, and they make gorgeous kids too that just drip with sweetness? Ya, I know the type :) My friends are those people. Good thing I love them because I could very easily hate them for being so beautiful :) But seriously, they really are the sweetest, most fun people so I forgive them for their good looks...they can't help it right? They came out to play a couple weeks ago and we did a session which Dad had gifted to Mom as a Mother's Day gift. SO sweet right? I loved the idea. So, here is some beauty for you to enjoy.

Adelle 3 Months Old {Longview, Kalama, Kelso, Vancouver Photographer}

I'm going to go ahead and gush about my precious baby niece here alright? Ok, here we go :)

I've said before that when I got married, I gained a family full of amazing people. One of those people is my husband's sister. She has been the most amazing Aunt to my children and when I found out I was pregnant with my 3rd baby and attempted to tell her, the look on her face was all I needed to know that she too, had just found out that she was expecting. Our due dates were 3 weeks apart. How perfect is that? Our babies ended up being born 29 days apart and we have enjoyed so much having them so close in age. Her sweet little Adelle is just the most darling little one. She is long and lean, perfectly dainty and such a girly girl already. I adore her so! We try to see each other every week and take a shot of the babies together so that we can watch them change and grow together.

So, here is a sneak peek of Ms Adelle's 3 month session. With a little of her Mommy and my guy in there as well :)

Jade's 4 Year Session {Portland, Vancouver, Longview, Kelso, Kalama Child Photographer}

Three and a half years ago I met Jen, her husband Aaron and their only daughter at the time, Jade. Jade was 6 months old and not only did I fall in love with her sweet little face, but I became friends with her parents. Jen is one of the most organized, thoughtful, sincere, attentive mothers I've had the pleasure of knowing. She always has a smile on her face, is positive through each day and is an inspiration to me as a Mom and a business woman. Aaron is cool too, don't get me wrong, but I can gush more appropriately about Jen :)

Since meeting this family they have added twins girls to the mix!! With 3 young little ladies and running a business, this family is busy as you can imagine. When they came to visit for Jade's 4 year session we had such a great time giving her all our attention and love :) With twin toddler sisters around, I'm sure that being the center of attention for an hour is a rare experience for Jade. Luckily, both her parents are used to me demanding they smile and snuggle for a few shots and Jade loved it!! This little girl is incredibly darling, so sweet with lots of expression and giggles! Thank You for letting me photograph your family...you are all so very special to me!

I saved my favorite for last. Isn't she the most angelic little girl you've ever seen? She is so calm and sweet here. I love her to pieces  :)

Olive 2 Years {Portland, Vancouver, Kalama, Longview Photographer}

I have such an amazing family. I won't say 'the most amazing' because I know you have an amazing family too, but the people who I have gained when I married are pretty awesome. One of my cousins has such beautiful children and although they live an hour away, they always let me photograph their children. Like, I'm talking, they have brought me both their kids since they were just days old. That is a lot of faith for them to put in me because I know traveling with young children is anything but easy. I seriously feel honored and blessed when I'm chosen to be a photographer for families as their children grow and it just makes me feel extra special when these families choose to drive past a boat-load of other talented photographers to have ME photograph these precious kiddos. Anyway, my cousin has made the trip to see me SO many times and I enjoy the time with her family very much. I love her happy presence, her laid back but firm parenting style and the fact that she shows up saying 'I did my makeup because I knew you were going to force me into a few shots today' :) (she knows me so well). She really is a wonderful friend whom I love dearly. And bonus: her kids are to-die-for-cute.

So here is her darling daughter. Little Miss Olive who steals my heart and my love :)

Sisters - Family, Baby Photography {Kalama, Longview, Kelso, Vancouver Photographer}

Sweet little darlings. That is the only way to describe these little ones. I've been photographing this family for several years now and seeing these gorgeous girls together is so amazing...I just adore sisters and the beauty of that relationship. Watching this family grow has been so much fun and the most recent session with them was so exception. When Becca told me about the outfits she was bringing for the girls I knew right where I wanted to photograph them! They are just beautiful together! Enjoy!!

Maxwell Newborn {Newborn Photography}

 I have had a wave of baby boys in the studio recently. Many of them have been quite chubby but in this slew of big boys, came this little peanut :) Well, really, he is quite a average size but after handling a few 10 pounders, Maxwell felt like such a tiny guy!! He had such great hair, big feet and the sweetest little personality. And to make it even more fun, his Mom and I have known each other since 6th grade!! They drove over 2 hours with a brand new baby and a 2 year old for their session...so yes, this was a very special newborn for me!! World, meet Mr. Maxwell...I'm in love :)

So after working with Maxwell, his big bro came and joined the session. Most 2 year olds are a little less then enthusiastic to be in front of the camera...which is basically how Gavin felt at first. BUT as Mom and Dad were packing up to leave, this little guy literally asked for me to photograph him. I mean, really, what two year old ASKS to have his picture taken?! Normally toddlers are running the other way from me with my camera. Of course I obliged his request. I could just pinch him he is so precious! 

Newborn Baby Girl {Newborn Photography}

 Sweet itty bitty, brand new, unblemished, perfect little babies. These are my favorite. This little darling was as perfect as could be. She had such great hair (my girls were seriously bald so any hair on a girl is amazing to me!) and perfect skin!!! Her parents were so adoring....they are in love with their little girl for obvious reasons and such sweet people to chat with! It was so nice to meet this family and snuggle this little darling. Enjoy!
